The SURGE Virtual Learning System (SVLS) has been developed for the purpose of allowing students to continue to master course content during emergency situations that may hinder the use of a classroom and/or traditional school facility.
The SURGE Virtual Learning System (SVLS) consists of an EASY (3) THREE-STEP Process:

Step 1: Students are asked to thoroughly READ and/or VIEW course content and supplemental resources by double-
clicking on the two distinctive icons:

Step 2: Students are asked to COMPLETE assignments and/or assessments activities by double-clicking on the
following icon:

Step 3: Once Step 1 and Step 2 have been both completed for each designated school week period, students MUST
SUBMIT their completed assignments and/or assessments by the targeted due date for each school week
period.
The following METHODS OF SUBMISSION will be acceptable:

1. Students will be allowed to drop off their completed assignments and/or assessments at the
School Administrative Office Monday thru Thursday between the hours of: 10 am to 2 pm.

2. Students will be allowed to email their completed assignments and/or assessments to:

All assignments MUST either be handwritten and/or typed, and have a proper heading (student
name, date, subject, and chapter name) .
​
3. Students will be allowed to email their completed assignments and/or assessments, by taking clear
(visible) images of their handwritten or typed assignments and/or assessments to:

Please note that administrators and instructors will be available during the following school hours:
Monday thru Thursday 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Student academic responsibility occurs when students take on an active role in their learning by recognizing they are accountable for their own academic success. Student responsibility is demonstrated when students make choices and take actions which lead them towards the successful fulfillment of their educational goals.
We believe that responsible students take ownership of their actions by exhibiting the following behaviors.

SURGE Christian Academy shall provide parents with weekly communication via email, notifying them of their children's successful progression and/or failure to comply with course requirements (reading, assignments, and/or assessments).
